Founded by Frank Laubach in 1908, the Regina Symphony Orchestra (RSO) is among the premier music groups in Saskatchewan. Every season, the orchestra performs more than 30 concerts.
Based in Saskatchewan, the Globe Theatre is one the province’s largest employers in the art field. The organization serves as a national centre of excellence in fostering the work of Saskatchewan artists.
Previously known as the Saskatchewan Centre of the Arts, the Conexus Arts Centre is a theatre complex. The location largely replaced former theatres downtown, as well as the Darke Hall on the original campus of Regina College.
The Saskatchewan Roughriders is a professional Canadian football team. The group plays in the West Division of the Canadian Football League.
A junior ice hockey team, the Regina Pats plays in the Western Hockey League. The team’s home area is the Brandt Centre.
The RCMP Heritage Centre is a local museum. It showcases exhibits that feature the Royal Canadian Mounted Police.
Formally established in 1962, the Wascana Centre is a park built around Wascana Lake. It brings together buildings and lands that are owned by the city of Regina, province of Saskatchewan, and the University of Regina.
Royal Saskatchewan Museum
The Royal Saskatchewan Museum was established in 1906. It is the first provincial museum in the 3 Prairie Provinces and the first museum in Saskatchewan.
The MacKenzie Art Gallery, originally the Norman Mackenzie Art Gallery, lets visitors observe the evolution of art by classifying works in the following order:
- Cultural and geographic provenance
- Medium
- Date of execution
- Artist’s name

Located at 2903 Powerhouse Drive in Regina, SK, the Saskatchewan Science Centre ignites the scientific curiosity of Saskatchewan communities through dynamic and interactive opportunities. The Science Centre is a nonprofit, non-governmental educational facility, and is one of Saskatchewan’s biggest family tourist attractions.
